                             ORDINANCE NO.   10506 
        
        
                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO AMEND CERTAIN SECTIONS RELATIVE TO OFFICES
                   IN THE M-2 AND M-3 ZONES.

              	   BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as amended, 
the
         Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
              	   SECTION 1.	  That Article V, Section 1011(1) be
         amended by deleting the following:
        
         	   Related office space and retail space and
                   retail sales (no commercial or office use
                   unless directly related to one of the
                   permitted uses of this section.		
        
         and substitute therein the following:
        
         	   Offices. 
         	   No retail sales or other commercial use unless
                   directly related to one of the permitted uses
                   of this section.
        
              SECTION 2.     That Article V, Section 1021(1), be amended 
by
         deleting the following:
                   Related office space and retail sales
                  
         and substitute therein the following:
0C
              	   Offices.
              	   Retail sales when directly related to one of
                   the permitted uses of this section.
        
         	   SECTION 3.	  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this
         Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its 
passage
         as required by law.
